Dark Future

Fauna, birds, and insects are facing disaster due to human behavior. The fear of where the world will end is now causing concern even to the average man. Man and his ways of life originated with these animals. It is refreshing that this man does not know how necessary these animals are for the survival of this world.

dark future

Even though ancient man hunted animals and lived on eating fruits of trees, man knew how necessary these animals, birds, and insects are for the world’s life. That is why man worshipped the tree and nature. It is a shame that today’s man does not even have the knowledge that primitive man had. The world is warming.

Major changes occur in the climate. Unable to compensate, the man stumbles. However, man knows that today these trees and forests and the animals living in them are extinct, yet man does not try to protect them. Although the naturalists, bird watchers, and friends of fauna think about the destruction caused by this, their thoughts or actions could be faster to protect them.

If there are no forests, there will be no rain, there will be no moisture and the land will become dry and desert. Animals and insects that carry the fruits and seeds of trees spread the roots to the soil. Even the wind helps them. If there are no forests there are no water bodies, there are no water bodies there are no animal species, if there are no animal species there is no human life. Why people and politicians do not understand this? Isn’t this situation worse than war?

Humans are the leading cause of deforestation and the extinction of fauna. In the accelerated modern lifestyle of man, technology is the main factor.

Today, when we step outside our homes, we only see man-made “concrete forests” and not natural forests. We see electric lights in the streets and houses, but we don`t see flying glow worms.

The seeds of the trees and plants were spread by the ants, beetles, and other insects that we encounter daily. It occurred for thousands of years.

This is how the world’s forests, plants, and grass proliferated and became green. Why are people unable to comprehend this? Just as humans have the fundamental right to survive, animals also have the right to live. Man will act as the first criminal in the cage for animals if they struggle for their rights.

However, it is also true that human activity does not account for all deforestation. Hurricanes, floods, weather patterns, parasites, diseases, forest fires, and climate change are just a few examples of the natural calamities that have contributed. But human wrongdoing has promoted nature’s destructive behavior.

Dark Future

Human disconnection from nature

The gap between humans and the natural world is widening. Modern lifestyles, technological advances, and urbanization have distanced individuals from their inherent relationship with nature. The reason is that the purpose of human life is short and that man prioritizes immediate gratification and materialistic goals over long-term environmental well-being.

He uses his advanced technology to destroy natural resources and meet his needs. Man does not understand that the complex web of life is interdependent. This ignorance leads to negligence. This causes the extinction of animals.

 Lack of awareness

The predominance of short-term interests often takes precedence over the long-term sustainability of humans. Politically influenced by economic factors and immediate gains, they ignore environmental issues that do not provide quick returns. Also, a lack of awareness adds to the problem.

Many are unaware of the complex balance between ecosystem, biodiversity, and their self-interest. Without understanding the consequences of their actions, individuals fail to prioritize the conservation of trees, forests, and water bodies

He fails to realize that this condition of man affects man’s actions based on his selfishness, another man’s livelihood. We fail to understand that the actions of these ignorant people are why there is no water to drink, no food to eat, and no place to live.

Man must first realize that this ignorance affects not only humans but also the animal world as a whole these 50 years, the number of wild animals has decreased by two-thirds. Deforestation, degradation of water bodies, excessive use of chemicals. State-of-the-art technology. For example, inefficient and high electricity consumption is the main reason for this. According to a major report by the World Wildlife Fund, the disaster shows no sign of abating.

Wildlife is dying because of forest fires and human deforestation,” said Tanya Steele, chief executive officer of the World Wildlife Fund.

.The BBC’s environment correspondent Helen Briggs explains that wildlife has seen a dramatic decline between 1970 and 2016. In 1970, more than 20,000 mammals, birds, and reptiles lived, and 68% of them are now recorded declines, he says. Andrew Terre, director of conservation at the Zoological Society of London, says the fall is a sign of human-caused destruction.

If this continues, he says, the future loss of animal life will be very high and will affect the future integrity of the ecosystem.

 .

.We need to take immediate steps to protect nature and bring about changes in our food habits. To preserve the balance of nature, it is necessary to create a balance between fauna, water bodies, forests, and marine life, and realize that this is only possible through human activities. Forest life has declined by 94 percent in Latin America and the Caribbean, more than anywhere else in the world. The “International Union for Conservation of Nature” has reported that 32,000 species are on the verge of extinction.

Research by the International Center for Forestry Research shows that by 2050, large parts of the tropical humid regions will lose their uninterrupted rainforests in the future. In Central Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Amazon rainforest alone, illegal logging for timber is estimated to be responsible for 50% to 90% of deforestation. The situation will worsen if nothing is done to prevent and protect the remaining forest habitat.

For example, some animals are facing extinction.

Rhinoceros

Orangutans

The gorillas

Chimpanzees

Pandas

Pygmy sloth

Bornean pygmy

African forest elephant

leopard
This raises the question of where we are going. So we who claim to be the most knowledgeable and compassionate people in the world have a huge responsibility to save animals and the forests they live in from this calamity.

Man’s short-term interests and lack of awareness

.Furthermore, lack of awareness among the people adds to the problem. Many people are not aware of the complex balance between the environment, biodiversity, and human selfishness. On the other hand, individuals do not understand the consequences of their actions and fail to prioritize the conservation of trees, forests, and water bodies.

Can integrate knowledge about exclusion into the school curriculum:

It equips the younger generation with the necessary knowledge and values to make informed decisions and become responsible stewards of the environment.

 Media and Communication:

Leveraging the power of the media, including documentaries, news organizations, and social media platforms, can effectively disseminate information about the environmental crisis. Engaging in storytelling and visual representations can help create emotional connections, leading to increased empathy and understanding.

 Policy reforms:

Governments and policymakers should prioritize environmental protection by enforcing strict regulations and providing incentives for sustainable practices. Environmental concerns should be integrated into the decision-making process at all levels of management.

 Community involvement:

Encouraging community participation through local initiatives, conservation projects, and volunteering opportunities can foster a sense of responsibility and ownership. Directly involving citizens in conservation efforts can have a profound impact on their attitudes and behaviors.

Economic change: Emphasizing the economic benefits of sustainable practices can encourage individuals and businesses to adopt environmentally friendly approaches. Highlighting the potential for green jobs, renewable energy, and sustainable agriculture can create economic incentives for change.

  Conclusion

The current indifference to the human impact on animals, birds, and insects, and the lack of action to protect our natural resources, paints a bleak picture for the future. Overcoming this neglect requires a concerted effort involving education, media, policy reforms, social engagement, and a shift toward a sustainable economy. Only by recognizing the urgency and gravity of the situation can we avoid the environmental disaster that lies ahead.
